What Backpacker Magazine Says:
"Light and Large
Like most Big Agnes bags, the Mystic dispenses with bottom-side insulation; your 20-by-72-inch pad, slipped into the integrated sleeve, does the job. The design saves weight, allowing Big Agnes to give the Mystic a huge 70-inch girth and semi-rectangular shape while still keeping it in the featherweight category for a true 15°F bag. (Peggy SL, pictured, is the women's version: $290, 2 lbs. 3 oz.)
Despite the roomy interior, testers stayed warm in sub-freezing temps thanks to high-loft 800-fill down, a mummy-style hood, and a free-hanging draft yoke that stopped even the hint of cold air from entering. The system saves about a pound from traditional bag/pad combos, but it doesn't work great for side sleepers (the hood doesn't roll with you), and you can't sit up inside the bag (so it's not for camp loungers). $390; 2 lbs. 7 oz.; 15°F"
Product Descriptions:
From Backcountry.com:
"Big Agnes made the Mystic SL Down Sleeping Bag to be a lighter-weight, more compressible version of the Lost Ranger 15-Degree Bag. The Mystic features 800-fill down for coziness during your springtime backpacking trip in Utah's canyonlands or your summer jaunt into the Rockies. A DWR-coated shell prevents light precip and morning dew from dampening the down, so you can sleep sans tent if you feel like it. As with all Big Agnes sleeping bags, a sleeve holds your sleeping pad so you don't roll off in the middle of the night and get chilled or wake up sore the next morning. Use Big Agnes' rectangular sleeping pads with the Mystic."

From REI:
"Ideal for cold weather, the Big Agnes Mystic integrates your sleeping pad to improve the heating efficiency of the insulation you carry. Sleeping bag has no underside insulation; in its place, a sleeve holds the Big Agnes REM Air Core Pad or any 20 in. wide pad, sold separately. Continuous oversize draft wedge insulates the connection between the bag and pad to prevent cold air from entering. Lightweight, 15° modified mummy design features ultra warm 800-fill-power goose down insulation—perfect for cold, dry climates. Ripstop nylon shell with a Durable Water Repellent finish sheds water; breathable nylon lining is soft against the skin. Built-in pillow sleeve allows you to stuff a jacket or a backcountry pillow inside and keeps it in place all night long. Contoured, down-filled collar at the top of the bag seals around the neck to prevent warm air from escaping and cold air from entering. Features a two-way, full-length, locking zipper with big, easily grabbed zipper pull. Large 3 in. diameter draft tube located behind the zipper prevents warm air from escaping and cold air from entering. Fabric stiffeners on both sides of the zipper prevent zipper snags. Bag will zip to another Classic Series bag if they zip along opposite sides. Includes nylon stuff sack and cotton storage bag."
From EMS:

From REI:

"Because the pad is inserted into a pocket in the bottom of this bag, you NEVER wake up with the pad upsided against the side of the tent while you are shivering on the ground. This is a GREAT feature. You can also turn while in the bag, great since we are sometimes side or stomach sleepers. The pad makes the bag stay put while under you. Very lightweight and comfortable. Since we have two (a left and a right) they zip together great, even though his is a long and mine is a regular bag."

"Love that it integrates with my favorite pad: the regular (not mummy) Big Agnes Insulated Air Core.
What it is/how it works: Instead of an insulated bottom, it has a big sleeve, into which you slide your Air Core pad. This "system" saves you weight; no reason to carry insulation that provides minimal insulation when compressed...or so I hear. :-)
Me (so you can compare to you): I'm a two-backpacking-trips-a-year backpacker (the latter is for one week). The fact that I care the regular Air Core tells you that comfort remains a priority with me, even as I try to lighten my pack.
What I also love: It is roomy inside...one of the roomiest of non-mummies, and at 2.25 lbs, not much more than a mummy. The bag and pad total 4.0 lbs. Of course you can do better, but for me this is the right compromise between weight and comfort.
What I also also love: I like the pillow stuff sack. Stuff your daytime/extra clothes and your DriDucks rain jacket in there, and now you have a great pillow for no additional weight.
Does it work? The bag and pad worked perfectly together.
Caveat: Used to have a +5 deg-F synthetic and could sleep with no clothing, and be warm throughout a High Sierra night. This bag, a +15, requires me to wear my long underwear and possum-wool hat...and sometimes my down vest--which is normal these days when you want to backpack lighter."

"very nice sleeping bag, everything is perfect, but the price. I think is a little bit expensive."
From Backcountry.com:

"As always, BA makes great, innovative products. My only quibble is with the temp rating, but to be fair, I usually have that with temp ratings. I'd put this 15 degree bag at more like 30, but that's just my opinion. I still wouldn't trade it for the world - super light and well designed."
"This is a great bag and good quality. I am 6' 170 so I got the long and it was a good choice. if I were to do it over again I would maybe get the mummy version because I am skinny and I have a ton of room in my feet and legs so it takes 30 min. or so to warm it up but once I do it is great. I love the fact that I stay on my pad but it is a little okward to sleep on my side but it works. One thing to know is that it is a big set up so if your backpacking tent is small you may want to consider something else. for example if your tent is 30 sq feet or less and you are sleeping two people in the tent you may not be able to fit two of these. I really like it and would buy it again."

"I have a couple of other Big Agnes UL/SL products that I love and this bag is no exception. First night out with it at close to the 8k level got pounded by heavy winds and wet snow but was toasty through the night. Being able to slip my existing rectangular pad into the sleeve was great. Because of the heavy winds and precip some moisture did drip onto the bag but nothing seemed to penetrate. I'm a bit of a thrasher at night but this bag has plenty of leg room so it was not a prob."
"My one complaint with the Lost Ranger was that it was a little heavy and should have used a higher quality down. Well this is the answer. This is the perfect bag for me. I am a little claustrophobic and the smaller mummy bags constrict me too much. This one combined with the way the pad slides into it allows me to toss and turn without a problem. It is a great bag."

"Absolutely LOVE my Mystic!! ... both my husband and I own and enjoy this 'as-comfortable-as-our-own-bed' Big Agnes bag/pad/pillow!!! (We had read one should, for camping, try create, as close as possible, one's own bed at home!! The Big Agnes system has accomplished this for us!!) Our last backpacking trip was a bit 'rainy' and cool, but we were very snug!!! Thanks Big A !!! : )"
